Eligibility. Job seeking and startup preparation: (D-10-1) job seeking for E-1~E-7 fields by bachelor's-or-higher holders (domestic associate accepted) scoring 60+ of 190 points (basic items 20+), with exemptions for first-time changers fresh from a domestic degree, domestic graduates with TOPIK 4+/KIIP within 3 years of graduation, under-29 graduates of world top-200 universities, TOPIK-6 Korean-studies majors, professional-visa workers whose employer closed, and foreign-mission interns; (D-10-2) startup preparation by degree holders with Korean IP held/filed, OASIS program participation, K-Startup Grand Challenge recommendation, or OECD-country IP; (D-10-3) advanced-technology internship for students/recent graduates of world top universities under 30 (master's+: under 35) contracted with qualifying companies; (D-10-T) job seeking by master's+ graduates of world top-100 universities.
Work rights. Job-seeking activity and short paid internships before formal employment (D-10-1/D-10-T); D-10-2 covers startup preparation only (no internships); D-10-3 is a full-time advanced-technology internship under contract. Part-time employment is possible with the D-10 part-time work confirmation procedure.
Duration. 1 year per grant; a maximum of 6 months per grant for specified groups (e.g., points 60-79 scorers, former E-1~E-7 workers, foreign-mission interns, most D-10-2 categories). The cumulative job-seeking cap is up to 3 years, tiered by qualification; time restarts after full departure and re-entry on a new visa.
Extension. Extensions stay within the cumulative cap; graduates exempted from points at first grant are scored under the points system at extension.
Pathways. D-10 → E-1~E-7 on finding qualifying employment (D-10-3 interns of 1+ year with pay of 1x GNI get E-7 education/experience waivers); D-10-2 → D-8-4 on founding; D-10-T → E-7-T. Navigator route: D-2 → D-10 → E-series → F-2 → F-5.
